Gun Lake Winterfest

Annual winter-themed festival includes special events at participating Gun Lake businesses as well as family activities at the Allegan County Park.  Festival highlights include a pancake breakfast, ice fishing contest, broomball tournament, ice golf scramble, trolley rides, food vendors, live entertainment, raffles, chili cook-off, swimsuit fashion show, and the highly anticipated polar dip into Gun Lake! 

 


 

7th Annual Thornapple Jazz Festival

Date: Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17, 2010
Location:  Various performances held at County-wide locations
Cost:  All performances are free with the exception of the headliner act on Saturday.  Tickets are available for $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for children.

Live performances at participating Barry County venues.  Headliner performance will be held on Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Central School Auditorium in Hastings. 

 


 

4th Annual Charlton Park Day

Celebrate the conservation of the Cerulean Warbler, North America's fastest declining songbird.  Self guided and guide-led birding tours, games, crafts, family friendly activities and a banquet are just some of the activities that will take place at various locations around the county, including the Otis and Warner Sanctuaries.

 


 

158th Annual Barry County Fair

Daily events include an antique tractor show & parade, bingo, horse drawn wagon rides, farm animal birthing tent, children’s activities, Master Gardener’s garden stroll, clowns, midway rides & games, concessions, 4-H booth displays and livestock judging and showing.  Grandstand special events feature draft horse pulls, Off-Road Challenge (Mud Run), Auto Cross, Professional Rodeo, Truck Pulls, Motocross and a Demolition Derby. 

 


 

37th Annual Delton Founders Festival

Annual Festival includes activities such as the Delton “Art Hop” showcasing local artists, “Las Vegas Night” fundraiser, pig roast, a Delton Idol Contest, parade, craft show, inflatables and games for children, "Taste of Delton" Bake-Off, Firemen Waterball Competition, pancake breakfast, bowling in the street, tractor show, car show and many other events throughout the weekend.

 


 

5th Annual Orangeville Days Festival

Schedule of Events

Enjoy a family friendly festival at the Orangeville Township Park with additional activities held at participating Orangeville area businesses.  Activities include an “Art Hop” showcasing the work of local artists, a euchre tournament, pancake breakfast, vendors, live entertainment, 3-on-3 basketball, soft ball tournament, parade, live entertainment, elephant rides, silent auction, old-fashioned family games, kids activities and more!  All proceeds from the event benefit the Township Park.

 


 

33rd Annual Hastings Summerfest

Schedule of Events

Annual summer festival held in Downtown Hastings.  Event features arts & crafts vendors on the courthouse lawn, concessions, free trolley rides, children’s activities, a tennis tournament, softball tournament, sand volleyball, 3-on-3 basketball, 10K/5K run, 3-on-3 soccer, roller hockey tournament, weight lifting contest, parade, car show, motorcycle show, live entertainment and a refreshment tent.

 


 

Annual Middleville Heritage Day Festival

Family friendly activities all day long!  Begins with a 10k run on the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail at 7:00 a.m., followed by a parade, antique car and motorcycle shows, crafts, games, food, tractor pulls and entertainment throughout the day.  Event ends at 7:00 p.m.
