Yankee Springs Recreation Area
Three special points of interest in Yankee Springs are: Devil's Soupbowl, a glacially carved kettle formation, Graves Hill Overlook and The Pines. The park has mountain biking, horseback riding trails, fishing piers, beaches and nine lakes for fishing and lots of winter activities. |

Michigan Audubon – Otis Sanctuary
A must for birders! Otis Sanctuary is adjacent to the Globally Important Bird Area, Barry State Game Area, which recognizes critical habitat for Cerulean Warblers. The 128 acre bird sanctuary hosts rolling fields, mature forest, expansive marshland, a trout stream, kettle hole marshes, and several springs. Pileated Woodpeckers, Grasshopper Sparrows, Barred Owls, Henslow's Sparrows, Massasauga Rattlesnakes, and even river otters have been sighted in the sanctuary. |
