Charlton Park

Historic Charlton Park Village and Museum began as one man’s dream for preservation of the past. In 1936, Irving Charlton donated land to Barry County for the purpose of building a museum and recreation facility for local residents, and named the place in honor of his parents, E. Frank and Roseanna Charlton.

Gilmore Car Museum

The Gilmore Car Museum welcomes you to enjoy a unique experience among automobile museums in the United States.  Dreams of finding an “old car in a barn” are a daily reality here. Nestled on 90 landscaped acres in restored historic barns are over 200 extraordinary vehicles spanning more than 100 years of automotive heritage. Here you will find exhibits ranging from a 1899 Locomobile, to the classic Duesenberg or the elusive Tucker '48, and from the Model T to the muscle cars of the 60s and 70s.

Historical Tour – Bowens Mill

The 19 acre Historical Park includes a 1864 Grist & Cider Mill and the antiquated four-story building’s main floor houses a working Water Powered Cider Mill and Grist Mill and a Museum.  Open seasonally.
